My two big fashion loves are jackets and boots. The boots are mid-calf black engineer style boots, and the jeans are tucked in. I used to wear jeans tucked into boots before it was cool, and the taper on the legs is good for tucking into boots that are roomier in calf. Otherwise skinnies are still the best I think for tall slim cut boots.</p> <p>The jacket makes my husband roll his eyes every time he sees it but military cut jackets are my one true love. I love fall the best, and don't mind winter. </p> <p>Angie mentioned about trying BF jeans with shorter boots, and I loved Lyn D.'s winter BF look, so I threw together a look that I can't wait to try in the fall. I was absolutely roasting as we don't have A/C and it's 28C in my bedroom at the moment, but it was fun to try if a bit sweaty. I wouldn't have the coral T on I just didn't bother changing out of it.</p> <p>The crotch on these is a good 5" below my actual crotch, and you can see they are quite relaxed in the seat also (these have been worn once, not freshly washed). I will try them with taller boots, but I wanted to see what mid-calf looked like first. </p>
