Thanks for your wisdom ladies. I'm trying to expand my heeled shoe options but need something with a lower heel so I will wear it more often. I was hoping this wedge would fit the bill. After reading Angie's post on loafers, I've been thinking about jumping on board. I often wait too long to sport new trends. Loafers have figure flattery issues for me (short/stumpy) and I thought the cutout would lengthen my leg line. I realize these shoes are not technically loafers but still a change from my ballet flats!

Gigi, I'm short too (5'4") so I'm always on the lookout for shorter inseams. I also have fit issues in my waist, hips and bottom so that's my priority. If I can fit these areas, I'm willing to have hems shortened (even tapered) to make them work.

Beth Ann and CocLion, thanks for the help on technical issues. Will try

I like both shoes..see no frump. Have you read the reviews? I find them very helpful.
I haven't tried the Pilcro boyfriends, but Pilcro Stets are my favorite jeans. I have, um, 5 pairs. And Pilcro jeggings also. They are very well made and durable. The fabric content does vary, even among the same style..different washes..so you might check that for potential bagging-sagging.

Love both the shoes, nothing even remotely frumpy about them. I think they're both sassy (in a good way). Especially the striped ones.

The BF jeans... are you taller or more petite? The inseam on the petite is still pretty long (might just mean you'd need to roll them a bit more). They're nice looking as BFs go. I think they're a bit pricey for a BF jean, though, imho. I've seen really similar for way less --but if you love them and will wear them often, who cares?

I like both of the shoes a lot! Actually, I immediately had to check whether the wedges came in my size (sadly, they don't). I'm kind of clueless about boyfriend jeans, but those seem to look nice.

First shoe -- It's lady like. Not frumpy, looks good for work.

Second shoe -- I love this!!! If I could wear flats I would wear something like this.

As for pictures and links, I usually take the trouble to do both. But it can be a pain to do this on some websites where you can't just control-copy. Maybe there's an easier way, I'm going to ask in the Technical Support section.

I don't have any actual experience with those as boyfriends, but it looks like they would be good. My main concern would be your height. I am 5'2", and the inseam on these would be full length on me. So if you are short, they might not work too well as boyfriends.

I don't think the other stuff reads as frumpy. :^)

My opinions:

High Hopes Wedges - CRAZY adorable. If they're comfy for your feet! Not frumpy at all!

Lydia Cutout Loafers - I love silver and pink.

Pilcro Hyphen Relaxed Jeans - I don't wear pants; no opinion on these, sorry!

#1 Love the graphic print and the sleek wedge. Not frumpy!

#2 I'd call these slipper flats

#3 I have BFs, which I love, but I've not tried these. Lyn is our resident (lol) Anthro girl.

For a pic: Use a screenshot. Pull up the pic, and place your mouse cursor in the upper left corner of the "crop" you wish to make. Press shift, command, 4 -- draw the box, and when you release your finger, the camera takes a pic and it appears on your desktop.

#1 not frumpy, very cute

#2 not awful and I would call them a ballet flat version

#3 - no experience with the jeans

I have no idea about the pics, I use windows.
