The asymmetrical hem saves it from being an overwhelming maxi, IMHO. Ever since I cut off that one (inexpensive) maxi&nbsp;dress last year into a high-low hem, I've become a fan of how much more wearable that simple alteration can make a maxi. Well, I tried every version of it that Anthro offers -- the navy large geometric print, the solid black, and this one. This version is my favorite on me, and I think this might be my new summer dress for the year. I liked the navy, but the print is very large scale, and the horizontal light lines in the print tend to fall right across my hips/thighs, which I don't love. The black wasn't bad, but it was just a lot of black, you know? A few of my old dresses are going away or being demoted to beach coverup status, so I think this would be a fun casual replacement.</p> <p>For anyone who is interested, it's TTS (I'm wearing a M) but quite long! I need to wear small heels with it to keep it from dragging on the ground. </p> <p>Unless you all see something I don't, I'm quite inclined to keep this. What do you think? </p>
