Hi Texstyle. Did you notice yours looking a bit faded or is it maybe my washing technique?

I have one too. I'm keeping mine to wear with rolled up sleeves and shorts this summer because it's nice and light weight.

Hi Leep. I too am purging for similar reasons. But I am transitioning into a more formal way. The J. Crew shirt is actually long sleeve. In the photo I have it rolled at cuffs. One of the sleeves has a bit of fraying from my watch.
But for future styles, would wearing the sleeves all the way down elongate the style ? Maybe rolling the sleeves is unbecoming on this shirt's style.
With the fraying on sleeve cuff, I know the resale shop I like will not take it.

I too am in the process of purging my closest. After working for so many years and now in early retirement I require not so business type of wardrobe. So I understand what you are going through with the hold purge pile. However after I have let items go it is true you don't miss them. I am not a fan of 3/4 sleeves and have purged them all from my wardrobe. I think the length of this top could be little longer on you and then be more slimming. Since you have already gotten some wear out of I would let it go.

Looks fine. But if you're on the fence about the pattern - pass it on.

Thanks Torontogirl. I like the fit, but the shirt lost its luster. I haven't worn it that many times though. I Have seen these shirts worn with jumpers and cardigans which are colorful such as green and purple. Last thing I need are more sweaters so I may just let this one go.

I think if it's a little faded and you are sort of on the fence anyways, I'd probably let it go ... I do like the fit though!

....and here is the J. Crew Leopard shirt I also had in my closet purge holding pattern.
Let me know your thoughts about this shirt. The colors are a little faded on it since it is a few years old. I am really on a fence post on yet he pattern.
The pants are from Target.
