Thanks for your opinions everyone. It's interesting, I think that since these were snugger to begin with, they've molded a bit to better fit my foot, whereas since my black Okalas were looser to begin with, they had nothing to mold to.

They fit perfectly in length with a good amount of toe room so a bigger size would be too long. I was thinking about going back to L & T and trying them on in a different pattern/color (they didn't have that pattern in my size in the store, they had to order them) just to see how that same size fits. I'd probably want to buy them too, so that might not be a good idea. I could just re-order and try a second pair but I'm a bit impatient for that - I want to wear them NOW :)

Daria, the rug is from Target. I'm planning a bedroom re-do, and I like their selection of modern area rugs. I wanted to get the walls painted over the summer, but that didn't happen and at this point I'll probably wait until spring.

They look great Karie. Keep, they will probably "give" a bit anyway. Doesn't sound like you are likely to need to resort to root vegetables.

They are actually super comfortable, even more so than the black ones that I already own. They don't feel like they're squishing. I think they may have stretched a bit from wearing them around the house. If I keep and they end up feeling too tight after their first outing, I could always try Angie's potato trick, I suppose.

They look terrific to my eye. I don't see any squishing or anything that would make me think they are ill fitting.

I'm sure you're getting tired of me with these shoe fit questions, but what's a girl to do when her DH is away but play in the closet and go shoe shopping? I actually bought these last weekend and posted about how they fit tighter in the width than my solid black Okalas in the same size. I've been wearing them around the house and with the tighter width, I'm finding them to feel like a better fit than my other pair.

So my question is, do they look too tight? If you can see the wrinkle on my right foot it's from foot surgery, not the shoe. I have a stocking on my left foot but not on my right so you can see how they look both ways. I know they're an open heeled shoe and many have a poison eye for wearing open heels with stockings, but I don't (open toes and stockings, poison eye, open heels and stockings, no poison eye), and I would wear them with stockings in the fall and early spring.

So what say you, too tight (which would be a first for narrow footed me) or just right?
