On the other hand, I love a fabric or straw bag for summer and I really like their takes on coloured straw! I especially like the straw explorer crossbody coming up on belk.com, and I think that style takes an ipad. If yes, I would go with the leather. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/another-summer-bag-query#post-1499585 Mon, 01 Jun 2015 17:42:59 +0000 Diana 1499585@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>So I'm still thinking about summer bags...&nbsp;&nbsp; After my last post, I decided that I like the Fossil Preston Crossbody, and that seemed like the favorite here as well.&nbsp; After reading a bunch of reviews, I think it won't actually fit an ipad but I am OK with that (I can always use my larger work bags or my black crossbody if I need to carry the ipad).&nbsp; But the more I think about it, the more I think the pale greyish blue color I originally picked won't work for me as a summer bag (it might work for winter though...).&nbsp; In the summer, I wear warmer shades and lots of brights, and show a lot of skin.&nbsp; Very pale, cool colors don't always work with this palette.&nbsp; My old bag was a yellowish straw, which went with everything and matched my skin tone.&nbsp; </p> <p>Anyway, I discovered the preston also comes in both a yellowish straw version and a camel leather.&nbsp; I think both of these will work for me.&nbsp; The straw is&nbsp; lighter toned, and more summery, but the leather is probably more durable and can be used in other seasons as well.&nbsp; Which do you prefer?&nbsp; </p> <p> </p>
