To me, the SE looks nice, but more predictable. I still love the quilting pattern on the seafoam jacket--the oval, or rounded rectangle, shapes are subtly distinctive. I've had a look at a few styles online over the weekend, and it's not easy at all to find a mid-length, non-gear stylish puffer in a nice color. Soia &amp; Kyo makes a style I absolutely love, but the colors currently available are not for me (black, olive, tan and quartz -- a blush-y color). Maybe next year they'll offer something in my palette since it's a style they offer year after year. My eye prefers the simplicity of the horizontal baffles coupled with the statement aqua colour -- which is very pretty on you! The silver + diagonal seams + flared hem is a lot going on. It's a much busier coat. I've looked at silver puffers before and some of them veer a bit too space-age; I actually appreciate that this one is a bit muted. I like the double zipper but otherwise it’s not really wowing me. It’s too snug in the bust, for one thing. Sizing up may work, but the truth is that the whole coat feels too bulky and thick for me. See how puffy the collar is compared to the seafoam one in pics 3-5? I don’t like that - it just feels like too much there (especially when adding a scarf, hat, mask, etc). I much prefer a *thin* puffer, no bulk! Also, I kind of like the quilting pattern but the color is a bit too muted. I was afraid it might be too shiny, but this is a little too dull and grey looking for me — I was expecting a bit more shine. </p> <p>Oh well, next! </p>
