I did not show it, but the snap detail at hem has another station, so can narrow the hem and give more of tapered track pant look vs the lantern look.

After reading the specs and reviews of their full-length pants, I fear they will be too long and difficult to hem, at least one style that I’m interested in.
That is too bad and maybe a feature of success, as a wider audience is reached.
It’s also a note about why the ankle- cropped styles everywhere are so popular— they may not always be PPL but they won’t drag on the ground.

I had been used to getting many of my pants tailored at waist or hem or both, but the pandemic makes me Jess keen to make those trips.

Joy, yes, trying to think if my seasons match up. Since this style is slightly cropped, I would not be wearing socks, except ability to wear sheer knee highs, but then those match up with different footwear fits. So it’s a 2.5 season pant!
I really would like to try the other ones with wide or flared legs, bough from photo they look lower rise than these.

suntiger, I am not used to measuring rise, nor precisely, but maybe 12 and 14–
pil, yes, they are very dark green.

That green really is darker than the stock photo, isn’t it? I was really tempted by the green but couldn’t decide on a size.

I like these. They have some interesting details and I think you find that the color is easy to style. Darker may be easier if the fabric to is heavy for warm/ hot weather anyway.

Yes, Angie. I’m sorry but Finds were not supported. Mine are much darker green than the stock photo, making it hard to show details in my lighting situation. Not sure if color differences are just the vagaries of photography, or are they into a different dye lot of fabric.

I decided to try the Sanctuary pant in 2 sizes for their fit test. I was drawn to them for the pleats and bit of tailoring and details, zips. Was interested in black and green but black has been sold out.

I tried a blue and a green, in different sizes. I actually didn't think either color would work for sure but have found colors frequently different in photo vs IRL so can't always tell. (BTW the blue is also darker than the photo, but not navy, sort of a dark royal).

Shown is the green in S. I think this is my correct size for this pant.
It is a very dark green, maybe Loden or similar. I think that may make it more neutral than a lighter olive but then perhaps less summery. Also being darker , is more forgiving for the fit and drape of a pant. However these are fairly "weighty" fabric, hence I think not high-summer outdoor type fabric.

They are not high-rise, more of a mid-rise. This has some pros and cons. A true high-rise fitted waist on me if not just the right style can accentuate any bit of tummy pooch, and also back waist fit becomes key, and is not as good in gathered waist items compared to tailored items with darts or seaming. That is all background on the issue that I wear different rises, around the mid-to-high-ish range.

Shown in pic 1with a tucked-in T and I threw on a belt because they have great belt loops, meaning, multiple loops all around, compared to stingy # of loops that lets your belt slide around. Wearing 2 different shoes to try!
Pic 2 with a button-front shirt, one that is not cropped but a bit shorter and boxier style.

Soooo--these are quite fun. The sort of lantern-style is good for me--provides some taper/structure but different from just a tapered track pant. They have 2 different zip pockets in front--one is the side-slant pocket which is deep, and a smaller zip beneath the foldover snap (meaning 4 front pockets).

I'm wondering about color--black , or charcoal-gray, has been my go-to neutral for bottoms but also the safe zone--when in doubt, get pants in the black color. But I have a sort of dark green pant "capsule" in this kind of green, in a cotton pant and a wool straight pant, so have been working some tops and jackets around this color. This color goes well with pinks, raspberry, magenta, as well as more neutrals.. I no longer am dressing for work so am not needing things that "could" go to work and I don't want a very ? urban-tech gray/black capsule. And while I have some navy, navy is really just not my favorite neutral--I get some navy items when there is an alignment of cut and fabric that is useful..

Had also recently made a trip to Athleta store for really the first time to actually try things on. When I went in I at first thought, wow, I could buy this whole store--but then after examining fabrics and styles more closely, was not finding that very many of the items really spoke to me.

Sooo--still thinking about these because I now have to think more about fewer outings, occasions , but I love the ways that they are unique but still in one of my types of silhouettes.

I would also like to try the “Relaxed elegance “ travel pant which is long. Not sure whether I size up to M, as Sanctuary said to size down, and M is sold out- as usual need to try 2 sizes!
