As nuancedream so perfectly articulated. I could say a lot about inconsistent weight, body shape, menopause, hanging on to clothes, etc etc - but we all know the story. I agree with all who suggest passing them on - even the red shirt, although it is a lovely colour. I'm distracted by the puckering around the front placket - which just needs ironing . But who wants to iron?

Definitely keep the pants because they fit you perfectly. You can part with the white and patterned shirts because they both appear to be too large and shapeless. They just do you no justice. You are much better off dressing the body you have right now even if it means having a smaller (but better fitting) wardrobe.

Interesting how this shirts don’t look that big even though I bought them when I weighted 40 pounds more. They are all size 10. My problem is that I am not sure if my weight is stable and I am reluctant to let go of too big clothes. My weight haven’t been stable for more than a decade and I just can’t relax yet. I also haven’t started menopause, and I don’t know how that would affect my body. If I remove everything that doesn’t fit perfectly, my wardrobe would be mostly empty. But I also don’t want to buy a lot until I stay at the same weight for some time. So it is a balance of having a small wardrobe with good fit or bigger wardrobe with poor fit. And how tolerable poor fit is. I am glad to hear that this shirts are not that obviously too big, but I still doubt that I will wear them this summer, so I should probably give myself permission to let them go.

I love the style of the white shirt on you, but it does seem a size big. I think there are ways of working with that, but I’m not sure oversized is the look you are after, and that shirt seems a bit tailored for the intentional oversized look. The red one is nice but I hear you about not being easy to care for — I end up not wearing things like that because they’re too much work. And the patterned shirt is ok but somehow I’m not feeling it for you. I think it’s also a little big and shapeless on you. If you’re confident your size is stable, I’d say it’s safe to let these slightly-too-big items go.

The white shirt is a classic, to my eye only the sleeves look a bit long - what is wrong with cuffing/rolling them? The red is perfect to me. The pattern one I cannot really say about the fit from the photo but I like it. I would put them in the holding zone for a season or two instead of chucking them.

The white shirt looks like a classic Carrie Bradshaw dress the red is a gorgeous colour on you. Maybe good as a layering piece under your red stripe pullover? I also like the pattern on the last blouse.

I like the red blouse best too. Do you iron it while still wet? I no longer buy handwash only items either, but I would do it like that. Or maybe only give it a quick steam if you have a steaming iron.

The others I am not sure. They may be OK but not as fab as you usually look.

Thank you all. I agree that red blouse is ok, but it is a pain. It is silk dry clean only but I don’t do dry cleaning so I wash it. And it doesn’t wash so great - I much prefer Boden silk blouses that wash beautifully, no need to iron at all.
Pants a by DryKorn which is my favorite brand at the moment - I adore their fit and quality.

I vote pass on # 1 and #2. Too big. Not that flattering. Red blouse will look better semi-tucked - add a little structure. It can be saved - Gorgeous with the pink pants and pink hair!

They look like they fit well to me but I am also too tolerant of poor fit. I like the colors except the white. It looks classic but, by itself washes you out. A topper that is a color or darker could fix that.

I would suggest to keep the red one. The white shirt looks to long overall but especially the sleeves. The print one is a bit shapeless, hard to style. But I’m very strict when it comes to how a shirt should fit. Probably because I’m petite and have a poisoned eye for a poor shirt fit, most regular sizes look off on me and I pick on it immediately.

I think the red looks good and the style and fabric suit a bit of volume.

I am not sure on the white - it looks okay to me - and it is a lovely shirt.

I think the middle patterned one looks a bit shapeless as is. Maybe styled differently it could work. Perhaps open as Slimcat says?

I'm not sure about white shirt - it looks too big and too long in sleeves. I wouldn't give up silk blouse in red - the grape and color are beautiful and can work out under some jacket or as semi-casual outfit with blue jeans.
I love printed blouse even though it's not a perfect fit now - maybe as casual home topper worn open with a tank top under? Otherwise it's probably better to give it to somebody else.
Nice fit on pants!

I will be going back to the office probably soon and I have been going through my closet assessing my summer office wardrobe. I have emptied my holding zone almost completely recently, but it is already full again with items from my closet that I don’t see myself wearing this summer but I am undecided if I should let them go. I know that fit of this items is not perfect but sometimes I can’t tell if it is still acceptable. Please help
me decide what to do with this 3 shirts. I must admit that I have a bigger tolerance for poor fit in sweaters and shirts than in pants and skirts, especially if I can layer over them. How about you?
