I don't but I'm sure others will. I think I bought some Dr. Scholls gel ones at Target. But you can also get the kind you cut to fit, which might work better so you can place them exactly where you need the space taken up.

I did wear them around the house barefoot this morning, and they slip less, so I'm hoping that is a good sign that the fit is decent.

Do you have a suggestion on brand or type of insert?

My other Fryes (not the Rorys) have a bit of roominess and give - I think they are supposed to fit that way. I even wear them barefoot in summer. I have other shoes I've put an insert in to take up some room, though. Don't stick them with the sticky part at first. Just slip them in and see how you feel wearing them.

Those 6pm orders must have all arrived within hours of each other ... I got my Veronica boots yesterday. I love them. My feet and legs are toasty warm. The saddle color is exactly what I hoped for and the leather is so soft.

First, the toebox felt tight and I was glad I sized up from my normal 8 to 8.5 (based on reviews I read). I wanted to be able to wear thicker socks too. My heel does slip, though not so much that I want to return these yummy boots. I don't have any trouble pulling them off and on, which kind of made me think these are too big (since reading Kari's thread about how hard her boots are to put on).

But the roominess is just enough that I though maybe I could add something inside the boot to help take up that little bit of slack. What do you think? Would a regular sole insert do the trick, or something just for the heel? Actually, I've never shopped for any inserts so don't know what's available.
