Welcome peacechick! It sounds like you've already done a ton of work in your closet. Maybe you need a good fast fallback nursing uniform that makes breast feeding easy. I remember having to ditch a few great dresses after my son was born too. Not fun, but there are some great outfit alternatives out there. Angie's Mom on the Go posts are a great place to start, if you haven't seen them already. Her outfit formulas have several ideas for leggings and tunic outfits.

Thanks everyone! Rachylou, it took me a long time to think up that one! I adore the 50s silhouette but prefer bright prints and colors like green, blue and red. Crackers, I lived in Vancouver a couple of years back. I miss it lots, especially at this time of year *brrrrrrrr*.

Welcome, Peacechick! No need to apologize for the long post; it's nice to get to know you. Congratulations on your son, and I empathize with you having to give up dresses while breastfeeding.

It's wonderful that you already have such a start on your curated wardrobe. I'm sure the ladies here can help you dress your postpartum self in a way that makes you feel fab!

Hi everyone, I'm joining the ranks of the "De-Lurked" and becoming a member! I've been a fan of YouLookFab for a couple of years now, but only started stalking the forum more seriously this year.

Like fellow newbie Cracker, I hail from Canada I love how many Canadians there are here! All of you have really inspired me to think more thoughtfully about my wardrobe and my style persona. I've since downloaded Stylebook to catalogue (and curate) my wardrobe and done a purge. I really want to be mindful of how an item complements my collection when shopping in future.

YLF has made me think hard about my style. As a teen I dressed to subvert-- think clashing colors, mismatched things (my prom dress featured thick black, purple and white diagonal stripes), Then in my 20s I lived in boring corporate wear. It was only after getting married, moving long-distance and becoming a freelancer that I started really having fun with clothes.

Examining my wardrobe now, I would describe it as a mix of boho, rock-romantic and tropicana-stepford wife. I love dresses, color and print... a little too much. i have too many clothes and not enough cohesion. The only style I have always rejected is "classic" and I've realized that's actually what I've been missing in my outfits. So that's what I'm trying to do in future,

My current challenge is that my identity and body has changed yet again. I'm now a SAHM to a 2-month old baby boy. I really enjoyed dressing my pregnancy body and found it fun but postpartum is a totally different matter...

We're going into winter and I only have one pair of jeans that fit, Most of my lovely dresses are living in my suitcase now because they aren't breastfeeding compatible. My already large bust is now huge and super top-heavy. I live in tunic tops and cardigans. Now I'm just wondering how I'm going to dress myself for the next year until I get my old body back... I love there's a number of MOTGs here so I hope to get inspired!

Ok, what a long post. Hello and I look forward to being active here!
