I thought maybe if they are supportive enough, I can take them to Spain next week. I need support and shock absorption right now, due to my back and hip pain. I ordered these Born waterproof Chelsea boots on the off chance they might fit my needs.</p> <p>Not only do they fit my current needs, but these are hands down the best closed toed shoes I have found for walking on pavement with back pain. They beat out my hiking boots and my New Balanace sneakers (plus OrthoHeel inserts). I don’t even need inserts, though they have space for them. They also don’t give me the flower pot effect that my other waterproof booties by Teva do. They’re also attractive enough, and I can wear them with tights and a dress at night when I travel. I am not compromising style for comfort even a little bit here. </p> <p>The fit leaves me just enough room for thick socks. </p> <p>I am in love. Did I mention they’re waterproof LEATHER??? </p>
