And the fit. I saw 5 black faux leather jackets in their store today and gave them all a fair chance. This one stood out, and the SA later told me while I was billing it that it's been their top-selling item this season Coz of the cut, fit &amp; fabric. In fact, it's the beginning of season and they were already out of it (I bought the second last piece). Despite being in the similar price range, the other jackets felt (and looked) cheap. The only other jacket I actually liked was only available in plus size range and I'm a UK 14.</p> <p>Now, I do own a real leather moto jacket in brown that is about 10 times more expensive than this jacket. Yet - they don't feel much different. Not to me, Atleast. </p> <p>Jenn - the fabric is soft. The black moto jacket is EVERYWHERE this season. Each store was offering 5 or more options. I did check other brands too but this H&amp;M jacket surprised me...it's actually really very good....far better than faux leather jackets that are priced at twice as much. </p> <p>Also, our winters are very short. I can wear a jacket for probably 3 months; no more. My winter jackets seem to last forever (because they don't get enough wear) and I still have jackets that I got 8 years back. They still don't look beat. The only jackets that do tend to show signs of wear are the quilted jackets I wear every single day for my walks, and that is because I wash them at home. That's about it. That's why a faux leather jacket is a great option for me. If I'm bored next season, I won't feel bad about passing it on at all.</p> <p>@Delurked - the lightweight jacket in #1 is from a brand called Vero Moda. It was barely cold, and the jacket served me well, since it isn't lined. And it can't handle layering either, because it's cropped and I can't fit a thick sweater underneath it. </p> <p>I enjoyed the black moto so much, this season I decided to go in for the all-leather biker jacket. It's predicted to be a cold winter, and surprisingly, the weather is already turning here in India. Fall is almost upon us and I think this winter will require thicker layers! (Finally....after such a longgggg summer). </p> <p>I love shopping for Fall/Winter before the season begins each year, as I've noticed that anything I buy on sale later never manages to stay a favourite by the next year. Thankfully, I had a ALOT of options in stores today! </p> <p>I bought the jacket in #2 today at H&amp;M. It's faux leather, and it fits GREAT! And while both these jackets are essentially black, I think I can still manage to do justice to both because I like to wear black veryyyy much! </p> <p>I also wanted to buy a couple silver necklaces and picked out these two. </p> <p>Would love to hear your thoughts/inputs/comments. </p> <p>Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! </p>
