Surprisingly our local Limited has AMAZING customer service (3 hours away) -- I always feel bad if I don't buy anything there because the SAs are really really amazing. However, the product is just not what I'm looking for most of the time. I also often get good customer service at places with male sales associates (like lucky jeans) but often find I also get unwarranted advice from the same associates. Beyond that I'm usually lucky if I can get someone to ring me up-- and locally in our home-grown buisnesses it is worse. I've written about it before, but I don't know what the problem is! I used to spend a lot of my shoe and gear dollars locally and anymore I won't&nbsp; because of the terrible customer service--- not for everyone, but for me. I wonder if it is because of my age. Annoying though since I was buying at least one pair of $100 running shoes a year-- I took my buisness to the man down the street who gave me 30 min of his time. I was just in my local Loft two days ago and the sales associates were helpful and friendly. I guess it depends on the store and the management.&nbsp;</p> <p>I've also never had a problem with the quality of their items. I do find a few things as Suz did that have been good for my use - mostly graphic tees or simple cotton tops -&nbsp; a couple pair or shorts. Sorry you had a bad experience, but I do think it varies by store and by who's working that day. The not checking on me in the change room wouldn't have bothered me; Loft isn't really the kind of high end place that does that sort of thing. But she should have offered to try to find your size in another store - did you ask her to? I vowed not to shop there again but I had a gift card, so this summer when I needed a few new items for a hot weather capsule I stopped in.&nbsp;</p> <p>Imagine my surprise -- I got a new tee, a blouse, and a dress that became the workhorses of my closet this season! The quality is good and they have worn well.&nbsp;</p> <p>I would be very frustrated about that service, though.
