The Okala is like other higher heels that cause a pulled muscle feel in my hip flexor area the day after I wear them. Maybe the thinner heel has something to do with it. I asked at a Nordstrom and they had nothing similar with a lower heel. </p> <p>Angie's had a 3 1/4" heel which is just a bit too high for me. (#1 below). I just found these similar Ann Klein "iflex" ones (#2) on Zappos, with a 2 1/4" heel. The other difference is that the AKs have a closed back. I love Ann Klein shoes, they tend to be more traditional styles but they are super comfortable and inexpensive so I have high hopes </p> <p>I just ordered them in black, to fill a hole in my dressy capsule. They come in a nude color also. </p>
