I have no idea what to tell you about hem length. I am not making any adjustments to mine because my booties meet the bottom edge. I think that means less chance for cold air to cause problems. I also anticipate that I will wear merino tights underneath the pants for warmth. How often do you think you will want to wear them in the winter? I agree that ankle boots is the way to go in the colder months. I got them as I have so few pants that are not jeans, and this color works much better for me than black with my burgundy, camel, black, and navy cardis and blazers.&nbsp; To me this length is what I want to wear with regular shoes like pumps, flats or low ankle booties.&nbsp; These pants are straight, close fitting and hit at almost the top of my ankle bone.&nbsp; now the problem comes in is should I shorten them a little to make them crop length to wear with higher shaft booties?&nbsp; If I did how would they still work for the winter months with the shoes?&nbsp; I am not fussy about l pants lengths with sandals or any heel height, or any summery looks, so this is not a usual problem for me. Also with jeans just roll or unroll, right? </p>
