It's one of the stores we visited in Portland, a very swank and current boutique. (I wish they identified what the bag is! It wouldn't work as a clutch because it has a box-style bottom with feet -- it's quite structured even though the photos don't show that. I'm not wild about the straps because they're quite stiff, but they are attached to the bag via a very substantial stitched leather patch with hardware. But I'm nuts about animal prints. One thought, can you just carry it like a clutch instead of using the straps? Anyway to have a cobbler rework the straps? I was evaluating one of my bags in the same way. I ended up passing it to my Mom who loves it and immediately started carrying it, so it's a win because it made her happy and that made me happy. But does it look current? I was thinking perhaps it looks dated because I don't see anything like it around, but on the other hand it doesn't seem so obviously 2010, at least I don't think so? </p> <p>My newer leopard print clutch/crossbody is on the left in the first photo. It's my only other animal print bag. It just so happens that two of the only pairs of pumps I own are also animal print (pic 2). </p> <p>What do you think? Keep or lose the old animal print bag? </p>
