If it is appropriate for your line of business, i say go for it. I've seen women in my old, conservative office dress similarly when taking clients to lunch, etc. Don't know about conferences, but then what is relaxed for my old office may be perfect for a fancy conference elsewhere. </p> <p>Ok, now I've even confused myself. I think you *could* wear it... but it depends on how dressy the conference actually is.
