Sorry I missed this post. Thanks for the kind words, ladies. I'm enjoying my new 'do :)</p> <p>CK, first, I straighten with a flat iron - just the front bits because I have wavy hair. Then I use three products: </p> <p>Alterna Blowout Cream<br /> Pureology Texture Twist<br /> Redken Quick Tease</p> <p>I use all the goo sparingly - otherwise my hair is a limp mess. </p> <p>I shove in the blowout cream first. Arrange the messy spike. </p> <p>Add the Texture Twist to some of the spikey ends. </p> <p>Finish off with spray.</p> <p>Rearrange the messy spikes.</p> <p>Done. </p> <p>Get on with it for the rest of the day.</p> <p>My hair is a little hard in front - but there is still lots of movement. I run my fingers through the spikes a few times a day to rearrange them. </p> <p>Have to add that Teresa my hairstylist does a great cut. The length has to be long and short at the same time. As I've decided to go back to my pixie after my recent hair disaster (and I actually feel really good about that - the pixie is my style, I've decided), I'd love to be able to do something similar. I can't seem to get my bangs to do that though. </p> <p>Can you tell me how you achieve that lift, especially without it looking like it's super stiff with spray? Tools? Products?
