Thanks for the comments ladies ,specially reguarding the roll on the jeans. Very helpful. I think as Suz said what I was struggling with was the high vamp of the sandal straps but after all your comments I feel like it worked in the end. Those particular jeans also strech out at least a full size within half an hour of wear which brought the look closer to what I had in mind as well.
Angie ,I'm glad you like "long torsos" because that's the one part of the outfit that can't be changed lol

I think it looks fabulous on all fronts.....love the colours, the tan accessories pulling it all together, and the relaxed linen shirt. I think with linen you have to just EMBRACE the wrinkle!

Fabulous! I think the others have given good advice about the length, although in this case, from what I can tell, I quite like the way you have done it -- it's sort of like the ankle strap, rolled pant effect (due to the high vamp/ straps on the sandal). You look stunning in the pale blue and white and the brown accessories really do ground it all.

I really like the light blue shirt combined with the white skinnies. One of my favorite color combos! As far as the roll on your jeans go - its difficult to tell for sure because of the angle of the camera - I can't really see where the bottom of the jeans end. One rule I try to follow is that when I cuff my jeans I try to leave a minimum of an inch of skin showing between the bottom of the cuff and the top of my shoes. Also, did you try the shirt with a semi-tuck? I'm wondering how that would look with the skinny jeans? Because the jeans are quite "skinny" a semi-tuck might add a little more of a fluid, flowy feel to the outfit.

This is the LONG torso look, and I love long torsos. (The angle of the camera is accentuating your long torso even further).

Gorgeous. The column of colour adds plenty of elongation. Well done. xo

I like the color combo and the linen shirt, definitely. There's something about the combination of the low hip slung belt / tuck and the rolled shorter jeans that is not quite working for me proportion wise. But maybe my eye's not adjusted to all these shorter pants.

So I decided to give Angies formula a try. First I paired the white jeans with a much dressier shirt but to my eye it just wasn't working. Then I pulled this blue linen shirt which is dressy(ish) and felt better in it. Believe it or not I did iron the shirt but it is linen so I am trying to embrace the wrinkles ....I played around alot with the roll on the jeans and finally settled on this . Still not sure I got it right though. Honestly I just got tried of trying and went with this length As always ant suggestions to improve this outfit are welcomed .
