I bought this cardigan in Japan recently as a nod to the old fashioned ladylike looks I saw women wearing. I tried the whole cardigan and pleated skirt look but it felt too girlish for me. The other travel bit is less apparent, but in addition to the pearl necklace, I also have on a gold necklace with palm tree charms picked up in Saudi Arabia and Dubai. I'm looking forward to warmer weather, even in the midst of the snowstorm we had yesterday. </p>
