They are gorgeous and plenty roomy in my regular size. I will have to try them with outfits to see how well they work in my closet. As far as comfort goes, they feel great in the foot--maybe even a little roomy at least without socks. The shaft is the only potential issue--the right side rubs a bit on the inside. I think that would be cured with a sock and with some breaking in. I ordered the brown metallic booties that Angie recommended in her latest roundup and had to pop in here to show them off. They are so very fab! An unusual find in brown and a perfect bookend for brunette hair. Patent leather is an all-time fave so I was magnetically attracted to the gleam of these boots! I’m planning to wear them to some work meetings in NYC so here they are with a “corporate Laura” outfit. The heel height is on the high side of manageable for me, and with an insole they are plenty comfy.<br /> I wouldn’t wear them to spend a day walking in the city, but for an evening out or to work, they are that perfect combination of dressy yet distinctive. Did anyone else get these? Let me know your thoughts! </p>
