I loved it when I tried it on, and it is the only pantsuit I have ever tried on that looked good on me (I'm much better with skirts). However, the seamstress at Nordstrom altered the pants WAY too short (no idea how, since I was wearing heels). Unfortunately, I didn't have a need to wear the suit for a long time, so by the time I tried it on and realized the alterations were wrong I had owned the suit for about nine months. I was too embarrassed to go back and ask them to fix it, so the suit sits in my closet. I am really lucky because I used a very generous gift card from my mother-in-law toward the suit, but even so I still have a little sticker shock. </p> <p>Interestingly, I also tried on a Tahari suit that was a very similar fabric. In fact, you could have swapped out the pieces between the two suits and not noticed. But the stance on the button of the Tahari was just off. I would never have been able to discern that pre-ylf and probably would have bought it since it was a bit less expensive. But it wasn't perfect for me.
