Liked seeing your pretty ring up close. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/angie-challenge-day-3-tweed-moto-handknit-lace-red-boots#post-2007607 Wed, 27 Feb 2019 21:29:31 +0000 Diana 2007607@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Posting late today as it's been a busy day!&nbsp;</p> <p>Today's Angie Challenge outfit consists of my navy tweed moto, handknit lace tunic, handknit lace cowl scarf, charcoal skinnies, and chunky tall burgundy boots.</p> <p>The navy tweed moto (which is from NAS) is my current favorite jacket. &nbsp;It's the perfect blend of dressy and casual for me, and far easier for me to style than a blazer, which always ends up feeling too stiff and businessy. &nbsp;The classic tweed fabric and sedate navy color are juxtaposed with the edgier moto cut with its asymmetrical closures, zippers, and sharp lines. &nbsp;</p> <p>The tunic and scarf are both handknit lace items, knit out of handdyed yarns with tonal color variations. &nbsp;The tunic is a subtle grey with hints of teal and silver, whereas the scarf is a more colorful multicolored mix that perfectly matches the peacock feather lace motif in the pattern. &nbsp;</p> <p>The burgundy boots represent my love of red footwear. &nbsp;(And red leather goods in general.) &nbsp;They are also warm and comfortable for a super cold day.</p> <p>The overall silhouette of this look is a signature for me - shorter structured topper over a long tunic, skinnies, and tall boots - as is the cool, dark jewel tone + grey palette.</p> <p>Finally, if you look closely in the second photo you can see my rings, which are the only jewelry (aside from specs) that I wear daily. &nbsp; I am wearing my Georg Jensen daisy ring on my right hand, and my wedding set on my left hand. &nbsp; </p>
