I don't necessarily tight line, but I often wear a liquid liner cat eye. I use Cetaphil makeup remover wipes, or occasionally use cotton balls soaked in micellar makeup remover (garnier also makes micellar remover WIPES which are also great!).

One note about makeup remover wipes - most wipes say you don't need to rinse after but I do - and then I apply moisturizer on my damp skin. (A plug for Neutrogena Hydro Boost, after a tip from my derm, I'm a hyaluronic acid moisturizer convert!)

A range of Nivea products and ponds cold cream. The Laura Mercia is a really good product I think.

I do the same thing as em does. Micellar water or Neutrogena eye makeup remover . I use a liquid liner for tightlining and it comes off easily - as above.

I use Cetaphil, like Xtbay. Occasionally there will be a bit left on if I tightline, it's true. But it's not bad. I don't do it every day so it's not that big an issue for me.

I shower again at night - use facial cleanser. Then I follow with Ponds cold cream to remove the last traces of eye make-up.

Good old Cetaphil skin cleanser massaged in and removed with a tissue does the trick for me. I usually follow that with a facial wipe and rinse, just to feel really clean.

I use a micellar water cotton pad and just gently massage it into my lashes. If there are stubborn spots, a micellar water-soaked q-tip solves that.

I wear tightliner. I love Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm. I remove with a warm washcloth after applying and everything comes off.

I recently picked up the technique of "tight-lining" from Angie, and I use the same blue cake-liner from Laura Mercier, for reference.

I am wondering how others remove their eye-make-up and in particular those who tight-line their eyes. It seems to me that by the very nature of its placement underneath the lash line, it's a little tricky to get the liner off at night and to wake up with happy eyes.

Till now I have stuck to makeup that can be removed with a typical face wash because many eye make-up removers are irritating to my eyes.

Curious to hear how others manage.
