Alas, my thick legs really don't play well with them, so I finally sold mine. (Plus, they barely came up halfway over my kneecap, which I finally decided just didn't look intentional enough.) I think the heel type and your sophisticated styling touch will keep them firmly out of Pretty Woman territory. I say wear and enjoy, and ignore the stupid ageist "advice." I wear Aquatalia patent (burgundy) boots to work a lot, especially when it rains. They are not OTK, but they are tall and have zippers going up the sides. They are even called VaVoom! I don't think people think I look like a hooker. It's all in the styling. There is no way a lower block heel is entering into Pretty Woman territory. No way at all.  It's classic 60's and 70's styling - so hot right now!  I think if you wear them with classic pieces - jeans, black leggings, a simple dress or skirt etc - these will owe you nothing . You'll be wearing them forever!  Great price too
