Angie it's true retail is behind on this one!  I searched "midi skirts" on my favorite fashion site (as we all know!) Shopbop and only 33 items came up.  When I searched mini skirt 290 came up. I was watching E! TV the other day (guilty!) and they did a feature on how to style a midi skirt so the stylists in LA are behind it too (California being long associated with minis). It's killer. So elegant. And they are all over the catwalks right now too, (I am watching the Spring 2014 shows very closely for 6 weeks like I do every 6 months). Now midis *have to* filter down to mainstream retailers for affordable prices. It is ridiculous that you have to pay $800 to $1200 for a bit of length on your skirt with a decent lining. I tried on two midis at Nordies yesterday, and came home with one.
