And, the seams taper ever so slightly inward, such that the hem is about an inch narrower than the hips. So, definitely not an A-line. But, my hips are ample enough, that even with a slight inward taper, there's still plenty of fabric to swish around my knees:). <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>I almost gave this skirt away a couple years ago, because I wasn't sure about the length, and, I didn't have a top for it. So, similar silhouette to yesterday, pencil skirt, sweater, scarf, again with black tights and booties. The cashmere sweater is a favorite- feels like a cloud, and the color is this amazing heathered mix of very pale browns and blues. But, it’s quite warm, so only comes out on our colder days. I added the Stella and Ruby earrings I got last week, for some color.</p> <p>Why this is me-</p> <p>1) Pencil skirt- love them! This one is 5+ years old.<br /> 2) Turtleneck- my favorite neckline in winter.<br /> 3) Black tights and booties- the booties are from NAS a few years ago.<br /> 4) Texture- I tend toward wearing a lot of neutrals, but love texture. The skirt is actually a tweedy silk/wool blend, and the scarf has panels, some of which are felted. </p>
