Tuesday evening I had another choir rehearsal, so I couldn’t wear just leggings and a knit dress. Plus, in-between temperatures are difficult for me to dress for. Not cold enough to wear my truly comfy, cozy layered knits, but not nearly warm enough for bare-legged dresses and shorts. AND I keep seeing the same group of people, so I’d rather not wear the exact same thing as the last time I saw them.</p> <p>So here’s where my one good pair of jeans proves it’s a wardrobe essential. Jeans, plus happy bunny t-shirt, and short Prairie Underground knit jacket. I wouldn’t lounge around in the jeans, but they’re not bad for rehearsals. The jacket kept me warm while giving me the option of cooling off if I got warm from singing. The jacket is cream but the bunny is white; it bothers me a little, but not enough to not wear them together. The bigger drawback is that the jacket is oddly tight in the arms. I don’t have big arms. And that’s not how the long cloak hoodie fits in the same style. Weird. It still fits well in waist and hip, though, so I’m hanging on to it. </p> <p>I also wore Cole Haan stitchlite sneakers, a light pinky sandy color, in wool knit. Very comfortable and keep my toes decently warm. I’ve worn these a lot this winter, when it hasn’t been wet or super cold. I am continuing to love my light blush footwear, and I’m starting to think about a similarly-colored boot.</p> <p>Bonus hair pic. I do a lot of fluffing of the hair around the bun, so it looks less like a flying saucer landed. </p> <p>Today is a weird day, starting out quite warm for February, getting into the mid-60s, and then a cold front blowing in during the afternoon. It will be colder when I leave work than when I arrive, go figure. But I’m capitalizing on overall mild temperatures to wear this favorite printed knit dress with nude hose. It’s got an empire waist and back tie. I adore the warm pinks and rosewoods of this floral! Also 40s style black suede shoes, and rose gold and morganite jewelry. I was going to wear my blush moto jacket, but seeing that the front is going to drop temperatures and bring higher winds, I wore a lightweight wool coat instead. </p>
