Woke up to snow, and a two hour delay for my kids, so made one plan. Then, half hour later, DH’s district (he teaches high school, one district over) announced a delay, so revised the plan. And, half hour after that, my 9am meeting got pushed to 10am, so revised the plan again. Thankfully, the commuter rail was running reasonably on time.</p> <p>External meeting this morning, so I pulled out a jacket. Threw on a scarf, that incorporates lighter tones from my blouse and black, to integrate my top and bottom halves. I’m looking for a different scarf, that incorporates blues, creams, and black. </p> <p>Keeping it real, because I snapped the pics quickly upstairs, before finishing hair, make-up and adjusting the scarf in “my” bathroom on the first floor. (DH and our two DSs share the upstairs bath, so it’s worth the trade-off.)</p> <p>Why this is me-</p> <p>1) More black- pencil skirt and sheers. Decided on sheers rather than tights, to lighten it a bit.</p> <p>2) Statement shoes. I actually wore my much loved, and top pick, Jeffrey Campbell booties. (The brown version got the yellow check.) The flats were just for a quick picture. </p>
