Thanks Suz, TG, Joy, Firecracker, Lyn and Katerina - I do seem to gravitate to dark neutrals but I am trying to bring in warmer lighter colours too. Jussie - the jacket was a thrift find for $11 - it is Glassons which is a cheap brand so probably only $30 new I suspect.  I really love the gold, bronze colour and it works with lots of things.  I might try it over a column of white next week (on a work from home day!!) Christel - thank you.....I am trying to thrift more as I do have good success with second hand pieces.   Angie - what a lovely comment!!  YLF has certainly helped me develop my look and current fashions are very much to my tastes - yay!!  Thanks for appreciating all our unique styles!! Brooklyn - I know, I do have a couple of soft grey items but all the charcoal has gone!!   Thank you. Thanks The Cat - I do love a chunky practical sandal with trousers/pants and jeans.  Especially as the weather cools these looks will get a lot of wear for the next month. Thanks Karen- I am not a very good layerer - so summer is easier for me.......I definitely struggle with winter clothes a lot more. I work from home and an aircraft related small business. I may wear hi-vis over any of this. I need comfortable practical clothes in this environment - others are pretty casual. It is summer but a little cooler this week. I try to be relaxed bold and elegant in my style - and am either Flamboyant Natural or Natural under Kibbe ( I think!). I like clean lines, flattering shapes, nothing too frilly, and love pattern and colour - and texture. These looks all have a mix of old and new ( oldest being the blue silky tee at four years), thrifted ( three items) , designer ( shoes and culottes) , locally made (culottes, floral tee and jeans (Australian). They all have one bolder piece supported by other more classic items. I hope to wear skirts and dresses the rest of the week and will add them in. Thanks for looking.
