They emphasize the hips visually making the hips area bigger and I'm doing everything I can to downplay my hips. Also I'm not wearing fully tucked tops. Only semituck or untuck if top is short. And I prefer to have a fluid voluminous top or at least not too fitted and these not always look good with high rises around the waist. In two words I try to avoid high rises at all costs. I know that it's trendy, it might be that my eyes adjust over time but for now I'm on the bench with that one. I tend to overthink things, outfits included, which doesn't help improving them. <br /><b>Angie</b>, I wore a down puffer from German brand Orsay over the top (see the custom Find). It is tailored and not heavy yet warm and true knee lenght. Cocoon sweater under it got a bit squished but it wasn't uncomfortable. <br /><b>Katerina</b>, indeed having freedom with dressing at work is relaxing but it could also be difficult. It's very easy to just slip in the habit of dressing like the majority because it's fast and doesn't require much thinking and end up not satisfied with what I wore. <br /><b>Kkards</b>, yes exactly! Yesterday it was -10 C in the morning and brightly sunny. Bright like in the spring and cold like in the dead of winter.
