Sveta, I think these fit you much better than the Paige jeans and they truly have potential. Can't wait to see round 2.

Ps -- I always get those wrinkles around the crotch and it drives me crazzzzy. I have yet to figure out what causes them on me.

Sveta, no advice but have another virtual hug! This pants' rise business has me equally stumped, and not just with white jeans (in fact, I find jeans a bit easier to manage a halfway decent fit in, with some compromise like Suz said, than regular pants) --- I can no longer tell if the issue is the rise or something else (like bigger legs or tall/short height necessitating entirely different proportions from the norm...).

Commiserations, then, and hope Angie and others can sort your pair out for you!

I meant just try them on wearing them a bit lower, without hitching them up so high with the belt...not thinking about alterations just yet (though maybe it's a matter of me not being able to imagine adjusting the back rise....).

Una, thanks!
Angie, I desperately need to be sorted out!
I just measured my Paige Hidden Hills which fit pretty well. They are about 1 cm lower in the rise all around (front and back). Can this 1 cm extra length in the rise cause this problem?
I am going to take both pairs to my mom and see what she can do. We will pin them and I will post pictures before doing any alterations in case it does not work.
Thanks for keeping me sane on this one, ladies!

Take the belt off. Let the rise fall. Have the back adjusted to lower than where it is now (if we think the jeans work). Let's see what that looks like.

Yes, looking at these on a different monitor, I agree with you that the rise is too high. Extra fabric in the crotch, not a camel toe issue. Why do white jeans seem so much harder to find than regular jeans???

Gals, you are the best sounding style board - ever! What would I do without you?
Rita, I can wear anything with tunic but it is pretty limiting. I am not going to wear anything tucked into white jeans but I would like to wear regular length tops with them.
Rae, the rise is most probably an issue but I thought it is too high, not too low... I will try what Jonesy suggested tomorrow and take more pictures.
Anne, you are so right: the only think which may be harder to fit than white jeans is the swimsuit!
Suz, me too! It is an issue with 85% of trousers and jeans I try on! However there are 15% which do not cause it...
Lulu, I guess he meant that my tummy is not like a washing board (which his is)!
The label says 99% cotton and 1% lycra. Of course my mom can take them in in the waist but will it address the crotch wrinkling?

This picture is a comparison of Paige jeans I tried before and these CJ ones. Paige is on the left. They were too tight but there is no bigger size to size up. I liked how they fit from the front though. Now looking at CJ beside it I am not sure if it is too much worse or not...
I think I am losing my sanity over white jeans~

Sveta--first show these pictures to your husband, and ask "what tummy"? I'm not seeing it! Second, i think you are over-thinking the white jeans experience. How do they fit and feel compared to other jeans that you own and feel fab in? That should be your litmus test. Third, will your fabulous seamstress be able to address the waist issue? If they are loose there you will be constantly tugging at them, which of course is no fun. And fourth, from my experience, white jeans stretch out a lot--i'm curious if other ylf-ers' have experienced the same thing? Check the label and see what the percentage of cotton to "other" material is!

I almost invariably get those wrinkles in the front of my pants and it is always because of the rise being too short for my body. To a certain extent I have come to accept it as a fact of life for me, sort of like most skinnies being really snug in the calves on my body. Obviously it is better with some pants than others and there's a certain level I'm not willing to accept, not only for looks but for comfort.

I would try what Jonesy suggests, though. The risk (as I have discovered) is that then the pants can become VERY low rise indeed, and in my own case, in severe danger of sliding right off! But for some, letting them slouch a bit will solve the problem.

I have no advice, other than to say I feel your pain when it comes to white jeans. I liked my Long and Leans, but never wore them, so I cut them off and made them bermudas and I wear them a lot more that way. I've tried on several pairs of white jeans while out shopping and they are ALWAYS a miss. Even premium denim. So what I'm saying is this: the right white jeans or pants are hard to find and, even when you find them (like I did), you might discover you don't actually wear them all that much. At least you have the Express pants.

I'd like to see what happens when you "sag" them a bit, too (Jonesy's suggestion), more like a hipslung bf jean. Might work since you said they're too big. When I get crotch wrinkles, it is because the rise is too low. My friend sometimes gets an opposite "V" or camel toe effect when the rise is too low and she pulls it up too high to compensate. It may just be that the rise is not correct for you.

Won't lowering them make the rise lower? I'm just thinking if they are riding a bit lower then they won't pull at the crotch (in the front) or--being graphic here--be hiked up along that back vertical seam (i.e., your crack :).

Before I mention the jeans I have to tell you Sveta, you have absolutely gorgeous shoulders...hmmm....did that just sound weird? Seriously though, you do.

Now take my comments with a grain of salt because white jeans still mystify me. From the back, these look fantastic on you. The waist hits in the right spot, pocket placement is decent (could be slightly closer together but not a deal breaker) and the thighs fit well. I think they also look good from the side (not sure what hubby is seeing there).

It's the front I'm unsure about - something seems slightly off but I can't put my finger on it.

Let's see what the experts say!

What happens if you loosen the belt so they sit about an inch lower on you? Right now they seem sort of "hiked up"--maybe they are meant to be worn with a slightly lower rise, so that's why they are loose in the waist? If you lower them a tad you will also gain an inch in length.

No because I have received CJ Cookies Faith straight legs I have ordered from Zappos.
My size is too tight in the thighs - I did not even take the pictures. So here is a size up.
It ios too big in the waist so I used a belt to hold them more or less in place for the pictures.
My hubby said that my tummy sticks out too much in them: so much for a supporting act at home! :-)
If they don't work I think I will give upon white jeans for now. I am keeping white Express Editors (being altered right now) so I will get at least something!

Please be honest because I feel I don't know anymore how they should fit!

YLF, you are my last hope!
