It may not be classically figure flattering but to me the shape looks modern and the color is very flattering. I like all of them but that is my favorite. But you must feel good in it, especially if it is spendy. Unless there is a major intervention by Angie, and even then, I am planning on returning the cobalt sweater. The color is beautiful, but the more I look at it, the more it looks totally shapeless and baggy on me--not a good look for me, when I'm already an apple. And also, I'm going to take back the grey sweater. Everything else I am very happy with. I will go back online and see what other stuff I might have missed, because there are a lot of great finds for someone like me who could use all sorts of things. Thanks for the invaluable feedback!  ETA: with the cobalt sweater, it seems like it would look better longer, like tunic length. Nice choices. My favorite is the wine & purple sweater, especially as you've styled it with those awesome wine-colored boots! Super fab outfit on you! I love the color of the pants with it, too. I do prefer the wine and purple to the gray version on you, but your styling with the bright blue pants and gray boots is a wonderful look, so I think the gray sweater will be a workhorse with brighter colors. I'm not sold on the cobalt sweater from these pics, but maybe I should look at your other photos, because it could completely be the angle. I think the color is great on you. Short sleeve tops look good - and I think it is a diagonal sleeve, not a cap sleeve Colors are wonderful on you although I am less enamored of the grey (it is not bad but if you have to let one go that would be it for me). Cobalt sweater  - the color is amazing on you and the style is modern. However I hear you on the price: I am also reluctant to spend a lot on knitwear because it does not last lo0ng (although maybe expensive one does?) Jackets and shoes is a completely different story, worth a splurge without any reserve!
