I'm not sure whether the problem is ultimately solved, but I've been pleased with the way they're "working the problem." I've been on a steep tech learning curve this summer --- teaching my kids to do multi-media projects as part of their schooling, and working to build my own website on WordPress. I'm getting there, but there are obstacles. It's kind of like a Knight's Quest, or a "Raiders of the Lost Ark" movie plot! You can see why I need to have "fun with fashion!" Her response? "We should come here more often Mom, I'm finding a lot of clothes I like here!" I'm torn by applauding her taste and mourning the loss of even more of my clothing budget! Well, she does turn 11 (11, really?) on Sunday.</p> <p>I purchased two items for her, and a pair of lace-up Clark's booties for me (brown -- who knew I could do brown). I walked away from.....</p> <p>The Gibson riding blazer -- for $49! But you know what, the short ruched sleeves would limit what I could wear underneath, and the fit, while spot on, allowed no ease -- particularly in said sleeves (and there were none larger). One of my big goals for fall is more EASE! I have several fittted blazers already.</p> <p>2 pencil skirts. I love a good pencil, but both of these, while they fit well, were a little short -- just above the knee. Another style goal -- to wear the midi while I can, because it's far more fab on me than just above the knee. </p> <p>I have clothes to wear, and my closet works far better for me than a year ago. Still I'm hoping I can find the items on my list in my price range and size:</p> <p>1. soft, slouchy trousers<br /> 2. Shaped, but soft and long blazers (one black and one in a great color)<br /> 3. colored booties and oxfords<br /> 4. Hi/Low sweater<br /> 5. Midi lengths in dresses and skirts</p> <p>Style Rubric: Form and Flow / Ease and Energy</p> <p>I feel like I'm hunting for some rare beasts in a huge jungle! Let me know if you see my "prey" on your hunting soirees. </p>
