(I could -- and have -- walked MILES in them with no discomfort!). It's that the entire last of the boot, and the mid-foot reinforcements, make it supremely supportive and comfortable for me. In North American sizes I tend to choose a 7 because 6.5 can be a little small. 37 EU is usually best. But in La Canadienne I buy the 6.5 and I have never had a better fit or greater comfort in a shoe/ boot -- and I've now owned 3 pairs of them.&nbsp;</p> <p>Sometimes a brand uses a last that just works for our feet -- like some fit models in clothing work better. This company makes boots that work for my particular foot.&nbsp;</p> <p>Having said that -- <b>ALL</b> these boots are plenty comfortable for the walking I was doing, and in the end, that wasn't such a factor in my choice.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Stagliare Fash</b> -- Canadian Thanksgiving doesn't carry the weight or freight of the US version, so yeah -- I have in fact heard of people going for Thanksgiving lunch -- but then it might not be the traditional meal. It's just not as big a holiday in Canada as in the US (and is much earlier in the autumn). "Supper" definitely has less formal connotations to me, though -- and our meal was not in the least formal. Discussions about what time of day people eat Thanksgiving dinner or Christmas dinner tell me that others also use “dinner” to indicate size &amp; maybe a little something about formality.
