I hate dark caves that smell like booze, and big outdoor venues where you have to queue up in the car park, and have really enjoyed smaller outdoor events. Since I work full time, I like to have clothes that I can wear to work as well as off duty! The dressier pieces go to weddings and jazz concerts, and the more relaxed pieces I wear on the weekends too. My needs are never super formal or super casual- excepting outdoor activities. I hadn't been there in 2 years, but told DH we should more often! Out of all the types of music, I like jazz most in person. It is amazing to me how these musicians can be so tight, even when they just get together for one or a few shows! Plus they're so chill when they play and classy in their suits! WIW- desk to club lbd, just add accessories! I did add my black lace blazer for the second set when it got chillier.
