Love the doggies! I just love the scene by the beach. I can see the lake from my window but I don't have dogs to walk. A very breezy and carefree look.

Another departure from my usual "dressy bessie" posts - I am off work for spring break, and DH has off on Mondays, so off we went on another day trip. Problem was, it was COLD today. Cold as in mid-30's, and windy too. So this outfit is super casual because I had to wear lots of layers, and underneath all the layers you can see is a layer of Cuddle Duds!

This is another pair of Gap SBF jeans. I bought one pair in my regular size (that's these) and one pair in my plus one size (I posted those a few days ago). I couldn't decide which pair to buy (my slouchiness tolerance is low) - I was at an outlet center and they were on sale plus I had a coupon, so I bought both. These fit perfectly in the waist, but they are only slightly slouchy, which is fine by me. Since it was way too cold to wear them rolled with bare ankles, I untacked the cuff and wore them tucked into boots. I can always just fold them up or tack the cuff back in place if I want to.

Our trip was to Sylvan Beach State Park on Oneida Lake. You can see from the first pic that the lake (one of the largest in NY State) is still partially frozen. We walked on the beach and park paths for a short while, but it was just too cold and windy, so most of the trip was spent seeing the sights from the car. My dog Cosmo got a sticker burr on his butt, that's why he's sitting down, he's trying to wiggle it off! The second pic was taken in the warmth of my own home...just before hot chocolate time
