It's really interesting looking back because sometimes you're not even aware of shifts in style preferences until you see pictures over time. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/an-observation-and-a-fun-game-using-my-lookfab-blog-to-look-at-my-color-preferences#post-1135248 Fri, 10 Jan 2014 17:13:51 +0000 Diana 1135248@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>So, if you have a lookfab blog and regularly post WIWs to it, try this:</p> <p>-log in.<br />-go to <a href="http://www.lookfab.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.lookfab.com</a> and click on "My blog" in the upper left corner.&nbsp; You should get the wall view.&nbsp; <br />-take a screenshot of your most recent outfits (1)<br />-if you want go back a little ways and take some more.&nbsp; I did one more from this fall/winter (2), one from the summer (3), one from last winter (4), and one from last summer (5).&nbsp; This is as far back as my blog goes.&nbsp; </p> <p>I found this really informative.&nbsp; You can see that at the moment I seem to have self-limited my palette to mostly blue, green, black, grey, with accents in burgundy/fuchsia and white.&nbsp; I was a lot more colorful in the summer (which makes sense as summer clothes are overall more colorful and light in general), and also more colorful last year.&nbsp; I feel that in summer, when I'm just wearing one or two items, I can wear whatever color without having to worry as much about it matching or bookending everything else in my outfit.&nbsp; </p> <p>Interestingly, my ravelry page (where I record all my knitting projects reflects the same change in winter palettes (although it also contains things like gifts and non-clothing items).&nbsp; I don't knit as many summer items so it's not very informative there.&nbsp; #6 is everything I knit in the past year, #7 is from 2-3 years ago. </p>
