It's comfy, fairly thick cotton with no show through. Pretty straight cut. I'm wearing a tall, and it's above knee length. I'd call it soft. It's almost too thick to be breezy in my heat, but I run hot and I was wearing it in 102* weather. And I find it on the verge of too casual to wear out with the shorter length, so I personally don't wear it anywhere but the most casual of places (though I think the jeans really dress it up)</p> <p>I remember trying on Halogen kick crop flares last NAS before returning them for finding the proportions fussy. I think I like the look with sandals. I grabbed a couple pairs of jeans to try with them, since it's weird to try on tops without bottoms. The first pic shows the top and white jeans I was trying on. I rejected both mentally, then put my dress back on top before taking off the bottoms. That's when I realized the dress over jeans actually looked good here (much better than the top and jeans). So I snapped a pic before taking off the jeans and going on my way. In case anyone needs jeans for under a dress, these would totally work. Pilcro script crop flare jeans. </p>
