I found the quality to be on the higher end for American Apparel, but the cut was too short-waisted for my larger chest (i.e. belt came in awkwardly above my natural waist) and made me look pretty disproportionate. I buy some t-shirts there (the unisex deep V tee is a favourite) and I love them, they wash and last well. Other times I've looked at things and been appalled by puckering, loose stitching, bad cutting, etc. The only way to be sure about the dress is to try to see it in person, unfortunately. </p> <p>If you do get it, let us know how it is! I didn't have a lot of lumps and bumps then but the dress managed to give me some.
