Thanks for all the input, ladies! I have started a new thread with the side and back views that were requested.
Claire, I think the most I would wear would be a semi fitted turtleneck sweater or something similar.

The jacket seems a bit boxy, but if that is your style, go for it.

The skirt and booties look great on you.

It looks like it has the fit of a pea coat, and in that sense is not too big. But it's hard to tell without seeing seams and how it looks in real life.

It looks very 60's to me, which was a great era! It doesn't flatter your shape, being so boxy, but if you lean toward the 60's fashions and love it then keep...

By the way, to that point...I honestly do see a resurgence of certain 80s styles. Obviously there are subtle differences and you can't just go to a thrift store and buy any old 80s thing and think you are set...but some of the cuts/ styles/looks are awfully familiar.

Tina, you look spectacular!! LOVE the skirt and booties.

I love the jacket, too, what I can tell. I had one very, very similar to this from Max Mara (my one and only EVER Max Mara item) in the mid-to-late-80s. And the cut was intentionally roomy. It was meant to look exactly like this. I personally think it works on you from the front, but yes, would love to see side and back views as well, when you get a chance.

Oh, I hope you are not sized out. This jacket is really cool. Would you be layering any bulky knitwear under it? Love your boots and skirt!

I think the style does allow for roominess. I mean, when I look at you, I am not thinking "Why is she wearing a jacket too big for her?"

I would like opinions on the fit of this jacket. It is an xs and seems big in the shoulders. My question is whether it is too big or if this style allows for roominess. I am unsure and would really appreciate some assistance.
Please excuse the scary hair, it was late and I was tired but this was when it finally suited to try things on. The skirt and boots are both NAS items and they are keepers:)
Thanks for your help.
