I would look for sweaters (not cardigans) and see what you find. Maybe some soft texture or cabling. Or perhaps an interesting neckline. I have read and re-read all the answers a couple of times and looked at the pictures and the sweaters again.<br />I have made the decision that I will send back both the navy and the taupe sweaters (as you know, I have already kept the lilac one). The reasons are:<br />1) Not good enough fit of both.<br />2) Not good enough colour of the taupe one <u>for my colouring</u>. I could style it with black or brights and try to brighten up the look with scarves, makeup and other accessories, <u>but&nbsp;</u>why buying something that I would have to work hard with from the beginning? Better to wait for the perfect item. The taupe cardi has been on sale - really large discount, so there was a clear sale's goggles syndrome present as well. I am glad I came to a good decision.<br />3) I should not buy that many knits to begin with. Now I have the new lilac sweater and the black sweater dress, and a couple of older sweaters that work, and this should satisfy my needs for wearing knitted items. I have also ordered a couple of other sweaters which I want to try and see. I should take it slow in case my craving for knits is only temporary.<br />4)&nbsp;<u>Realization</u>: I shouldn´t buy cardigans that remind of or imitate blazers. Then I am likely reach for a blazer instead, because I prefer blazers on me. I need a few more sweaters, not cardigans, and should concentrate on possibly getting a few of these if I find prefect for me styles. Whilst I like all of them, my least favourite is the beige as I don’t love the colour of this one. The navy is almost like a relaxed blazer. I really like it, both the colour and the style, so tags went off and I wore it to work today, accessorized with a lavish silk scarf and navy wide trousers with navy chunky oxfords. I added a colour blocked bag which picks up the lilac and blue colours (from La Martina).<br /> <b><br /> 2.</b> The other outfit I s<b></b>how you here is the same sweater, but with another silk scarf, burgundy cotton trousers and blush suede chelsea boots.</p> <p><b>3</b>. longer taupe wool cardigan with a copper metallic thread in the knit. nice quality, but is it me? Is it flattering enough? I styled it with taupe trousers to create a tonal look and different versions - with a scarf, with a little ladies tie and a brooch and with a patterned silk blouse (also a tonal look. I am not a fan of this sweater or the styling and will most probably send it back, unless you strongly would disagree with me.</p> <p><b>4.&nbsp;</b>dark blue wool/cashmere cardigan, one possible styling shown here, but it could be really versatile. On the fence with this one.... Is it my style and will I wear it or reach for a blazer instead?
