I am looking forward to being more confident about how I dress. I bought myself a full length mirror last year. Before that I just put something on that was comfortable and clean. A lot of those clothes went shortly after the mirror came in... I find it difficult to find the right trousers, because as you noticed when you were in the Netherlands, most shops sell carrot-like trousers or very slim boot cut jeans. So I decided to make my own! I am wearing this camisole as underwear today, but I also use it as a 1st layer with a top (can't think of the correct English word, I am Dutch). I have two matching tops. I find it so difficult to look at my own body without only seeing the parts that are not my favourite. I tend to just see my round tummy and my big bottom and hips. For spring I will be looking for new clothes that make me feel more confident about myself. I have one pair of winter pants that fits and one that is too large (yay, I have shrunk!) and a few tops that I am happy with.
