I'd just be careful about too much gathering in the wrong places...and like Ana said...watch out for pockets. Ideally, you don't want pockets on any part of the body that you are trying to minimize. OTH, you do want pockets on areas you are trying to balance out. It's not just about minimizing certain areas..it's also about making other areas look more in proportion. For instance, I am an inverted triangle--extremely so. I wear a 14 on top and an 8 on the bottom. So not only do I have to try to minimize the appearance of my bust, I also have to maximize the appearance of my hips...all while accentuating my waist. If I had a smaller bust, I'd still be an inverted triangle, but to a lesser degree. I like the first dress and the last three shirts. The blue dress is pretty and you'd just have to try it on. The length concerns me a little, but you are handy with the sewing machine so you could possibly alter it yourself so it hits you at the best length for you. The ruffle sleeveless shirt could work, you'll just have to try it. I like the colors you've linked to, are those the one's your planning on getting?
