I fall somewhere between the IT and hourglass descriptions myself (although you and I do have some differences). I've given up on labeling myself as one or the other but instead follow the principles for each type that I think work best for me (i.e., emphasize what I want to emphasize, deemphasize what I don't want anyone to notice). as Tania recommended above. For example, because I want to make my bust seem a bit less broad, I wear V-necks and scoopnecks; however, because my legs aren't thin, I stay away from IT recommendations that highlight slim legs.</p> <p>Do you have a sense of what would be most helpful about figuring out if you're more IT or hourglass? I'm having some trouble figuring out what body shape I am. While using the body shape calculator half of the time I'm hourglass and the other half I'm inverted triangle. It's getting really annoying and I just want to figure out which body type is my primary shape. I have shoulders wider then my hips (like my whole arms worth), a bust that is around the same size as my hip measurement, a very defined waist, and legs with a little thigh gap in between. My measurements are 38-28.5-36. Can you guys help me to figure out what body type I am? I would really appreciate it! Thanks! </p>
