Why not jot down a few notes on each of them and head to the mall for an afternoon of trying things on? You may find that the top for one body type fits, and the pants of another, and dress tops from a couple of them or whatever. There are lots of variables those types don’t even try to capture—are your limbs long or short? How about your neck? Are you long or short waisted? All of those things play a role in what shapes look good on you. After your mega try-on session, you will know what works on your body, not an ideal type. </p> <p>I did this 1.5 years ago. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it, and also by sales associates’ attitudes. I expected them to not want me hanging around if I wasn’t going to buy anything, but instead SAs from Nordstrom’s to Michael Kors and Kate Spade and Hollister all seemed happy to have me trying things on. It makes sense, I guess. If they’re in that line of work because they love clothes, it’s probably a lot more fun to have you come to play than for me to show up with a list of things I have to get, a budget, and a short time frame. I think your shoulder measurements are needed... and also across, not circumferential, measurements are needed. It’s really a visual thing, what appears to be as opposed to what is... if that’s not too confusing. The 8 shape refers to how high your hips are... it’s a sharper hourglass shape. My hips are pretty much same size as my shoulders. They don't appear wider than my shoulders. I don't have measurements of my shoulders, but my hips are 40.5 inches and waist is 30.5 inches. My thighs are a bit full and I have a very round behind, but not a flat belly. If I lose more weight, would it be me more visible what I really am?<br />I kinda am lost at what body shape I am and would like to know, so I know the clothes I can wear.
