I have to say I wouldn't have been asking if I were sure about these. The punkiness of the style appeals to me, but then I just can't tell how I would really feel out and about in these. Clearly the voice of YLF is skeptical. I tend not to feel fab in sneakers, but Converse squeak through my filter in this regard (Angie--I wasn't sure why that is, so your comment about the retro look was really interesting). Campers would be a good idea, but they are a little more expensive than I am budgeting for comfy shoes. I'll be honest, I saw these on a stylish lady I admire and am tempted to copy. I think they are sleek but a little punky due to the hi-top--they would look good with skinnies to show some attitude or they can peak out under boot-cuts. But I am curious if you all agree with this assessment. </p>
