Sara and Laurie, the untied scarf look is also handy if you find you get hot around the neck (I do). I walked to the venue so I was feeling warm by the time I got there. And although I ended up wearing the scarf more for decoration than warmth, it was good to have it available for some warmth if needed. And that more cropped, slim silhouette of the second outfit still dominates over flares and bootcuts, don't you think? Ok, it also probably helps that I look taller than the door in some of my photos. I still can't figure out why that happens but my husband thinks it's hilarious (I occasionally show him the photos). I often wish I was part of the dominant season here on YLF. Especially when other YLFers are posting velvet jackets and boots and military coats and I am sweltering away in the heat and humidity, wearing shorts. But the weather is just right at the moment! The Cat, I hope you find your perfect floral tee. I do like a lot of floral patterns, but I am very picky about fabric for warm weather. I am experimenting with letting my hair air dry while pulled back into pony tails. I am trying to smooth the curls into waves. I like curls in theory. It's just that mine turn frizzy pretty easily (especially when it's humid, and it's humid here A LOT). I took a 29, which is my usual size in premium denim (rag and bone, AG) but I am often a 28 in non-premium brands. This particular style was also long. I am fairly tall but they still needed hemming. Not quite sure about the uniform jacket, but in my closet, I would put that one into the blazer section too. I like your outfits and find #1 especially fab. The scarf looks fine just hanging that simple way, and the different lengths of the scarf and the jacket create added interest. Though I am not a very "floral person" myself, I love your floral tee and would like to get a similar one.
