Most anthropologie stores will let you order with free shipping f you do it in the actual store. I usually bring the wrong size up to the resister and ask if they can order me the correct one. I've never tried with an item that's not actually stocked at themat store. I think the free shipping is at the discretion of the SA but I've always gotten it. (You're in MA, right? I wasn't familiar with them and was impressed when they arrived. A few years ago, I started the project of replacing all of my sock swith merino wool - took a while due to cost, but my feet are so happy. So the idea of merino shoes sounds brilliant to me!<br /> My daughter reports that the shoes are great, but of course she hasn't worn them in warm weather yet. She got the gray, and they are a nice look with her day-to-day student attire. She wanted them in large part because she thought they would be great for travel. A comfortable walking shoe that doesn't scream "athletic shoe", but could still be worn on a morning run or visit to a hotel workout facility.<br /> Having seen them in person, I agree with RobinF that the white ones probably won't stay pristine, even with washing. But neither do white sneakers - some scuffing is just part of the look.<br /> All of those cargo pants you linked to are cute! Same size. I am sending the black ones back because the calves were tight and made the pants look like britches. I like the green ones and in fact wore them out today (on vacation in Nerja, Spain.) They are a very synthetic fabric.
